I am a seasoned executive with more than 30 years of experience and a proven record of creating, leading, and advancing critical business initiatives, frequently through a collaborative effort with government.

I am an innovator who relies on my strengths as a strategic thinker, consensus builder and detail-orientated executor to get results. I use a combination of tenacity, patience, passion, and a bias for action to move ideas forward. I am an accomplished public speaker, with expertise in strategy, advocacy, lobbying, media relations, writing, sales, marketing and branding.

My professional focus for the past 20 years has been on applying focused and sustained business leadership to accelerate transportation solutions that enhance regional economic and community development. My academic and research background is in transportation engineering and policy, business management, and political science. 

I currently serve as executive director of the RTA, the Regional Transportation Alliance, the voice of the regional business community on transportation in the greater Raleigh, Durham, Cary, and Chapel Hill area in North Carolina's growing Research Triangle region.
